In Bearhugme, a trusted contact is the person who should know when someone misses their daily check-in.

What you receive

If the person you care about does not check in for their chosen time window, Bearhugme can send you a notification. It is a prompt to check in with them. It is not a diagnosis, an emergency alert, or proof that something has happened.

What you do not receive

• No location tracking
• No health data
• No continuous activity monitoring
• No access to private messages

What to do if you are worried

Use your own judgement. Send a message, call, or contact someone nearby. If you believe there is an immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services directly.

If you do not want this role

You can decline an invitation. If you accepted and want to be removed later, contact the person who invited you or email [email protected].
