My name is Nicole. I built Bearhugme because I kept asking myself whether to call my mother or not, and found no good app for the in-between.
I was an expat myself for years, living 9000 km from home. Far from my parents and even my grandparents, in a busy life with a full-time job and young kids. I know how fast "I will call tomorrow" turns into three weeks.
